The new density

meters DS7400, DS7500, DS7800 and DS7900 offer high precision with up to five decimals for measuring density, relative density and concentration of aqueous solutions in a range of 0.0000 to 1.99999 grams per milliliter. For the devices DS7800 and DS7900 the measuring method is based on established oscillating U-tube technology. The U-tube is made of glass and is monitored through a window to ensure that no gas bubble falsifies measurement results. Within the DS7400 and DS7500 devices minute capillaries have replaced the large resonator tubes and an integrated micro-mechanical measuring module delivers reliable measuring results for sample quantities as small as 80 microliters. The density meters have been developed by Krüss Optronic and can been seen at their booth in Scanlab+Biotech Forum. www.kruess.com.
